The Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul held a panel discussion entitled “From Hunger to Sustainable Food Security: The Role of Innovation in Achieving the Goal,” on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

The lecture was presented by Dr. Sahar Adnan Sheet.

It addressed the pivotal role of technology in transforming global food systems, with the aim of eradicating hunger and achieving sustainable food security for all. The lecture also discussed how these efforts align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 2 (Zero Hunger).
