Building a Sustainable Environmental Future: Strategies for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals

The training course titled “Building a Sustainable Environmental Future: Strategies for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals” was officially launched today, aiming to enhance environmental awareness and strengthen scientific and practical capacities to achieve ecological balance and support sustainable development pathways.

The opening session featured two distinguished lectures:

🔹 First Lecture:
“Environmental Conservation Strategy for Achieving Ecological Balance”
Presented by Dr. Ali Basheer Aziz, this lecture highlighted modern strategies for environmental protection, mechanisms to reduce pollution, and sustainable use of natural resources to maintain balance between human activities and ecosystems.

🔹 Second Lecture:
“The Use of Internet of Things and Blockchain in the Food Supply Chain”
This lecture focused on the role of modern technologies such as IoT and blockchain in enhancing efficiency and transparency in the food supply chain, reducing waste, and ensuring food safety and quality.
Goals achieved:

* Goal 2: Zero Hunger
* Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
* Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

This course comes as part of ongoing efforts to support scientific initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable development and building a more stable and balanced environmental future
