The Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul held a meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, chaired by the Director of the Environmental Research Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Mai Abdulhafiz Abdulqader, in the presence of the Center’s staff.

The meeting coincided with the beginning of the new academic year and addressed a number of topics related to academic and administrative work. The Center’s plans and programs for the upcoming period were also discussed, with the aim of improving performance and enhancing the Center’s scientific and research activities.

The meeting also focused on mechanisms for organizing work and distributing tasks, while emphasizing continued support for researchers and staff and encouraging scientific and research activities that contribute to addressing environmental issues and promoting sustainable development.

The Center’s administration emphasized the importance of joint efforts and teamwork in strengthening the role of the Environmental Research Center in serving the University and the community and achieving its scientific and research objectives.
