The Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul held its first Board of Directors meeting for the academic year 2026–2027, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Mai Abdulhafez Abdulqader, Director of the Environmental Research Center, with the attendance of the Board members.

During the meeting, several academic and administrative matters related to the Center’s activities were discussed, along with the work plan for the current academic year. The discussions focused on enhancing scientific and research activities, developing environmental programs and events, and supporting the Center’s efforts in addressing environmental issues and promoting sustainable development.

The meeting also addressed a number of proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the Center’s scientific and administrative performance and strengthening cooperation and integration among its staff, in line with the University of Mosul’s objectives in supporting scientific research and serving the community.
