The Environmental Research Center holds a panel discussion entitled “Radioactive Pollution”.
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Dr. Saba Khair Al-Din Al-Tai, Director of the Environmental Research Center and in order to limit the spread of radioactive contamination and minimise the size of the environmental and health repercussions that Iraq suffers from, the Environmental Research Center held on Tuesday, November 15, a panel discussion that included a lecture entitled “Radioactive Pollution” delivered by Ms. Safwa Waleed Ahmed, in which she discussed the increasing effects of radioactive contamination with the increasing use of nuclear energy for various peaceful and non-peaceful purposes.
