The Environmental Research Center team continues its community service efforts
.As part of the “Bridge of Mercy” project, the Environmental Research Center team at the University of Mosul continued its community service efforts by conducting a field campaign on Monday, December 22, 2025. This campaign included quality tests of the water tanks supplying homes in the village.
The campaign also involved distributing awareness posters at Batnaya Primary School, addressing topics such as water conservation, sustainable development goals, and environmental pollutants, with the aim of promoting environmental awareness among students and the local community.
The center emphasized that these activities are part of its ongoing program to enhance the role of scientific research in serving the community. This is achieved by utilizing research expertise, available resources, and laboratory equipment to conduct necessary analyses, as well as providing relevant technical results and recommendations to citizens and relevant authorities.
