Dr. Ali Bashir Aziz, a faculty member at our center, has published a joint scientific research paper in the journal Journal of Prospective Researches.

The research is entitled: “The Influence of Low-Level Radioactivity on Benthic Diatom Communities.”

The research paper examines the impact of low-level radiation on benthic diatom communities. The results show that even small radiation doses can alter species composition, biodiversity, and ecological balance in aquatic ecosystems. The study also confirms that diatoms are sensitive bioindicators that can be used to monitor the effects of radiation on ecosystems.
