Environmental Research Center Researchers Participate in an International Scientific Conference

As part of the Environmental Research Center’s commitment to promoting scientific research and strengthening its academic presence in international forums, Asst. Prof. Dr. May Abdulhafez Abdulqader and Asst. Prof. Taha Ahmed Taha participated with a joint research paper in the 11th International Scientific Conference entitled:

“The Challenges of Scientific Research in the Era of Knowledge Integration”

held under the slogan:

“When Disciplines Meet… Innovation is Born”

at Al-Hamdaniya University – Babylon Hall, during the period 7–11 July 2026.

The researchers presented their study entitled:

Physicochemical and Microbiological Characteristics of Rainwater in Different Land-Use Areas of Mosul City, Iraq: Influence of Meteorological Conditions

The study investigates the physicochemical and microbiological characteristics of rainwater collected from different land-use areas across Mosul City and evaluates the influence of meteorological conditions on rainwater quality. The findings provide valuable scientific data that support sustainable water resource management and environmental protection.

The Environmental Research Center continues to encourage its researchers to actively participate in national and international scientific conferences, contributing to knowledge exchange, enhancing research quality, and supporting sustainable development.
