Center Library
Library Responsible: Mrs. Nabaa Abdul-Ilah Ibrahim.
In addition to its scientific departments and administrative units, the Environmental Research Center includes a specialized library. It was established in 2004 and contains about 780 books, including scientific and literary books in all specializations such as medicine, physics, chemistry, life sciences, computers, mathematics, software, engineering, and economics, business administration, environment, and earth sciences, in addition to containing a number of masters and PhD theses in multiple specializations, amounting to approximately 140 theses and dissertations.
The center’s professors and employees have provided the library with research conducted by the center, in addition to the products of seminars, courses, and conferences that the center held and participated in. It also contains approximately 100 magazines, booklets, folders, and books donated by the central library, former professors, or the rest of the university’s colleges. The library is still keen on developing its information resources.
It is worth noting that the library has introduced (the Koha system) in archiving its books so that they are available to students and researchers by helping them complete graduation requirements and postgraduate research, despite the limited space available to the library since the center is currently integrated with the university presidency.
