Head of Pollution Control Department: Dr. Ali Bashir Aziz/Ph.D. in Physics.The department prepares studies on the problems of environmental pollution in all its aspects, diagnoses its causes, and then finds appropriate solutions to reduce the effects of environmental pollution. The department also prepares special designs for facilities related to reducing the effects of environmental pollution, in addition to the department’s teaching staff conducting research and supervising graduate students and teaching in university college departments related to their specializations. It is also considered an engineering department responsible for developing methods of protection and control of pollution, contributing to the implementation of laws, and applying the results of studies and research carried out by the center’s staff. It also follows up on the center’s activity in preparing designs for pollution control and environmental protection facilities.
