IELTS Test Center

In a new step to enhance its academic services and expand students’ access to international education, the British Council has announced the accreditation of the International English Language Testing Center at the University of Mosul as an official registration center for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), either within the university center or at any center inside or outside Iraq.

This step follows the accreditation of the University of Mosul Center in 2023 by the British Council as an official IELTS test venue. It has now also become an authorized registration center, facilitating the application process for students and community members and bringing them closer to global education opportunities.

This collaboration is part of the university’s efforts to provide a comprehensive academic environment that prepares students to enroll in international universities by offering integrated services related to the world’s most widely recognized English language test.

For his part, the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, emphasized that this achievement reflects the university’s commitment to developing its academic infrastructure and serving the community. A representative of the British Council praised the partnership with the University of Mosul, affirming that such initiatives support Iraqi youth in their aspirations for global higher education.
