In line with the policy of constructive communication with all institutions, organizations and local, international, scientific and cultural voluntary teams, emphasized by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President, University of Mosul, to reach advanced levels of joint cooperation in various scientific and cultural fields, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the Libraries, University of Mosul, received Eng. Alaa Ghanem Jumaa, leader of the voluntary team (Think Before Bublishing). During the meeting, it was agreed initially on joint cooperation in the field of digitization and preservation of some of the library’s work and the acquisition of skills for volunteer teams, to achieve mutual and equal advantages for both parties. After the meeting, the Secretary-General accompanied the team’s leaders on a tour in the library to give him a brief overview of the mechanism of work to get ready for the actual start of the joint technical work in the coming days. The team’s leader expressed his appreciation for the General Secretariat of the library’s transparency in treatment and unlimited support for sincere volunteer efforts and for its vital role in serving our university and society.
