Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Wahid Alibrahimi, and in the presence of the Director General of University of Mosul Libraries Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jasim, the Continuing Education Division at the Central Library hosted a workshop themed “Manuscripts and Manuscriptology” on Monday, March 24, 2025.
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Husain Ali and Lect. Mahdi Mohamed Ali Kasban, College of Arts, addressing the linguistic and terminological meaning of manuscripts and the impact of manuscripts on the emergence of manuscriptology which is the study and verification of historical handwritten texts and books.
