Central Library

Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, regarding the emphasis on continuous cooperation and communication with local and international organizations and associations, and under the supervision of Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, and in coordination with the University Presidency, the Reform Society for Community Development presented a variety of the Kuwaiti magazine Al-Araby to the Periodicals Unit of the Central Library. This donated collection constitutes a qualitative addition to the Library’s periodicals, which were burned and damaged during ISIS invasion. The Unit’s staff instantly began including these magazines in the paper and electronic records to be available for the Library’s users.
