To embody the vision of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to adopt the internationally approved digital means as a successful alternative that help curb the spread of Corona pandemic. The General Secretariat of the University Libraries holds its meeting online in the presence of the branch librarians.On Saturday, 9/26/2020, the General Secretariat of Mosul University Libraries held its meeting via Google Meet under the supervision of Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the Secretary-General of the Libraries, University of Mosul, in the presence of the branch librarians as well as the staff the Central Library.A demonstration of the most prominent achievements and services provided by the Central Library under the circumstances of the new Covid-19 pandemic was presented by Dr. Ghada Abdel Karim, head of the planning unit and coordinator of scientific and cultural affairs at the library. Also, the prominent requirements that the libraries need in order to enable them to serve their beneficiaries were discussed, as well as the most prominent obstacles and problems that stand in the way of achieving the desired goals. The General Secretary expressed his keenness to overcome difficulties through continuous communication and the adoption of effective solutions according to the approved contexts, in addition to many administrative and technical interventions and inquiries that were answered by the administrative and technical staff in the Central Library.At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that this meeting would be followed by periodic meetings to work as a unified team in order to jointly advance the reality of office work at the University of Mosul.
