Complying to the guidance of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, on honoring its retiring staff for their dedicated efforts to attain the University’s goals, the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, represented by Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar and a group of the staff of the Central Library and Ibn Khaldun Library, celebrated a group of recently retired library staff: Mr. Akram Hussain, Ms. Wafaa Faisal and Ms. Ghada Mahmood. During the celebration, Mr. Sayf commended their sincere efforts and dedication during the years of their service to the Library in all circumstances in favor of the research and cultural movement at the University, wishing them a new life full of happiness, health and safety, adding that their praiseworthy efforts will always be remembered by all the library users who are indebted to their fraternal support. At the end of the occasion, the library retirees were recognized for their remarkable efforts by being given certificates of appreciation and letters of thanks by the Secretary-General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar on his own behalf and on behalf of the library staff members.
