Central Library

Embodying the vision of the University of Mosul for its institutions to have an effective role in scientific and cultural activities in the service of the University and society, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, visited the University of Mosul’s Book Fair (2020-2021) organized for 15 days. He began visiting the Library corner in the exhibition, dedicated to introducing the Central Library and its distinctive activities in serving the users. After that he toured the exhibition pavilions and and made in-depth dialogues with a number of representatives of the participating publishing houses and some creative people in various fields of art to hear their views on many issues related to today’s reality of authorship, publishing and reading and the ways to advance it in the foreseeable future to reach global levels. He also discussed the activation of cooperation between the characters and institutions dealing with writers and university libraries to serve students, researchers and intellectuals at the University and the city of Mosul.
