Central Library’s Online Workshop on the Emergence of Roman Numerals and Their Importance in the Information Resources.
Under the auspices of Pro. Dr. Kussay Kamaluddin Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the University of Libraries, Mr. Sayf Mohamed Dhiya Al-Ashqar, the Central Library held an online workshop on the emergence of Roman numerals and their importance in information resources, on Sunday, May 9, 2021. The workshop was delivered by the Asst. Lect. Zina Tareq, official of the Continuing Education Division, and Asst. Lect. Mafaz Khalil and electronically supervised by Dr. Ghada Abdulkarim. The workshop dealt with the history, definition, modern uses, symbols, tables and basic multiples of Roman numerals as well as the mathematical method for knowing them and their practical application in information resources. At the end of the workshop, the attendees were granted certificates of participation.
