Under the supervision of the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the Central Library’s Continuing Education Division, organized a three-day virtual training course on (The effectiveness of Google Meet in digital and blended education) which was managed electronically by Dr. Ghada Abdulkarim on July 27-29, 2021. During the course, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar and Ms Heba Khairuddin gave full explanation about the Blended education and digital education, describing what blended education is, its features, components, dimensions and technical requirements for its success. As for electronic education, its concept, objectives, importance, types and the requirements for its activation. Electronic education management system with an explanation of the electronic tests and Google Suite, while the second day was devoted to explaining the Google Meet, its steps to start the meeting and the various features of the meeting, clarifying the steps for using and attending the Google Meet in detail. The course was completed on the third day with an exam for the course attendees who were granted participation and examination passing certificates.
