The Central Library Conducts a Workshop on (The Basics of Information Security Culture)
Under the auspices of the University President, Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, and under the supervision of the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, a workshop on (The Basics of Information Security Culture) was organized by the Continuing Education Division at the Central Library on Sunday , June 26, 2022. The workshop was delivered by Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, with administrative assistance by Dr. Ghada Abdulkarim and Saba Maad Ahmad. The workshop dealt with the importance and definition of information security, highlighting The Basics of Information Security Culture, classifying information crimes and hackers and discussing the means of protection including the best ways of choosing secured passwords and using the biometric techniques. In the end, certificates of participation were given to the workshop attendees
