Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, under the supervision of the Secretary General of the University Libraries, and within the activities of the Continuing Education Division, the Central Library held a workshop on the importance of the Iraqi Virtual Science Library at the University of Mosul. The workshop was presented by Mr. Jalal Hikmat, Institutional Administrator of the IVSL and was attended by the IVSL’s link members at the colleges and centers of the University of Mosul. The presentees were given an opportunity to be briefed on the importance of IVSL to the academics and postgraduates who urgently need its modern global sources of information. The workshop also gave the link members an overview of the stages and reasons of establishing the IVSL and how to register and search in it in an appropriate way. During the workshop, questions and inquiries from the participants were answered by the workshop presenter. At the end of the workshop, the attendees were given certificates of participation
