The President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, the two University President Assistants, the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, a number of university officials, in the presence of the Official of the Central Library Restoration Project Mr. Humam Talal and the Consultant of Preservation, Digitalization and Potential Development Mr. Abdullah Ahmed, received the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Scientific Research Affairs Prof. Dr. Haidar Abd Dhahad, accompanied by the Head of the Education Office in the Consultants Authority in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Dr. Tareq Alani, the Official of Education Office in the Authority Dr. Saad Abdulmajid, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alnoor University Dr. Bashar Mahmud, the Official of the Department of Library Development and Informatics Mr. Marwan Abdulrazaq, and Dr. Zainab Talib and Mr. Ahmed Mutashar from the Department of Organizations in the Ministry of Higher education, as well as members from the Abbasid Shrine including the Director of the Center for Cataloguing and Information Systems Mr. Hasanain Ahmed, the Director of the Digital Information Center Mr. Ammar Jawad, the Director of the Alfadhl Center for Maintenance and Preservation of Manuscripts Mr. Laith Husain, and the Official of Information Technology Mr. Mustafa Alaa, during their visit to the Central Library. The Undersecretary and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the rehabilitated Central Library and its workflow and were impressed with the local and international efforts made to restore the Central Library.
