Central Library

The Central Library received a delegation from the National Committee for Countering Violent Extremism, headed by Mr. Ali Albadiri, accompanied by Rector Alibrahimi, and the Deputy Governor of Nineveh Mr. Ali Omar.

The visitors were taken in a tour in the Central Library and were briefed on the library services provided to researchers. During the visit, they expressed their admiration for the well-organized Central Library and its effective contribution to providing an optimal scientific and cultural services to library users.
Mr. Ali Albadiri also pointed out the importance of the Central Library as a scientific and cultural edifice that supports awareness-raising efforts and dissemination of knowledge, stressing the role of the University of Mosul in promoting a culture of tolerance and dialogue as part of the strategy to combat violent extremism.
