Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Wahid Alibrahimi, and in the presence and supervision of the Director General of the University of Mosul Libraries Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jasim, the Continuing Education Division of the Central Library hosted a workshop tagged “Drug Abuse: Causes, Risks, and Solutions” on March 10, 2025.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Salah Mohamed Amin Alsarraf, College of Pharmacy, addressing raising community awareness and issuing a stern warning on the health, psychological, social and economic perils of drug addiction, how to avoid falling into its detrimental trap and finding appropriate solutions to protect society from the evils of drug abuse.

This workshop achieved the third goal: good health and well-being, and the fourth goal: quality education from the Sustainable Development Goals.
