In a significant step that reflects the growing academic status of the University of Mosul and its serious endeavor towards universality. the university achieves an important international scientific achievement that was represented by including the University of Mosul’s medical journals in the Middle East Medical Catalog (IMEMR) of the Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO).

This achievement is part of the continuous support, and great interest offered by Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the Honorable President of the University of Mosul, to scientific journals, with the diligent follow-up of Professor Dr. Abdul Raheem Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and with the distinguished efforts made by the Director of the Central Library, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed. The inclusion involved four reputable medical journals issued by the University of Mosul, which are:
Annals of the College of Medicine Mosul.
Al-Rafidain Dental Journal.
Iraqi Journal of Veterinary Sciences.
Iraqi Journal of Pharmacy.
This achievement is considered a major strategic step that contributes to enhancing the visibility of scientific research published at the university and raising its global citation rates, in preparation for the inclusion of more university journals within international scientific depositories and platforms, particularly the Research4Lif platform. Thus, we will attain the fourth goal: good education

the seventeenth goal: establishing partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
