he Central Library at the University of Mosul hosted the first meeting of the “ISO Energy” Committee which is organized by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance Today, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026,, the meeting was headed by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Fawzi Al-Qattan, Head of the ISO Energy Committee and attended by Ms. Bayda Saber Ayub, the committee member at the Central Library, as well as other committee members. The meeting was held to establish a mechanism for implementing the National Initiative Plan, supporting the energy and reducing emissions. During the meeting, the ISO Energy Plan was adopted to rationalize energy consumption and promote the use of renewable energy sources. and a work mechanism was established and distributing the tasks among branch committees,
At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee expressed its appreciation to the Central Library for hosting its meeting.
