In line with the directives of the presidency of the Mosul University ,highlighting the importance of promoting the cooperation and knowledge enhancement between the formations and departments of the University of Mosul, lecturers of the General Directorate of the Central Library visited Dar Ibn al-Atheer Printing and Publishing Press in order to learn about the modern work mechanisms and technologies adopted in the field of printing and publishing.

The visit included a field tour inside the printing’s sections, during which they were briefed on the devices and machines used in the printing and artistic production processes, as well as learning about the technical and administrative stages that publications go through from their

preparation until their final production.

Modern technologies adopted in digital printing, and mechanisms for designing and producing books, journals and scientific productions, were also viewed, which contributes to enhancing professional expertise and exchanging knowledge between academic and administrative institutions at the university.
