It was first published in Britain in 1948 and further editions were published over the years in multiple languages to be the then one of the bestselling and most widespread books in the world. It gives the reader intellectual and practical advices based on sayings and actions of prophets, reformers and philosophers to incentivize surmounting and fighting anxiety with faith and proper life planning. Moreover, the book presents advices of psychologists and socialists in addition to experiences of global personalities, whom the author met, that managed to face anxiety and frustration and transformed them into successful and impressive stories and effective recipes for those willing to continue achieving their dreams despite the difficulties.
