In implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, to optimize cyberspace as an alternative to conventional methods in serving library users and personnel in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 Pandemic as far as possible, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, chaired a weekly e-meeting that involved the officials of the library divisions via a virtual platform called Google Meet on Saturday, May 2, 2020. The e-meeting underlined that the administrative officials allowed to work by the University as directed by the Crisis Cell, should take the precautionary measures seriously to safeguard their health and safety at work. Moreover, Mr. Sayf appreciated their efforts in performing the library administrative work under the current critical circumstance in coordination and cooperation with the library technical staff members who continue to perform their daily duties through cyberspace to sustain the scientific and cognitive process at the University.
