Central Library

In an effort to convey the University of Mosul’s message to the world, the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, received correspondents from Al Jazeera English Channel, who paid a visit to the Central Library to document the important event of the blessed and exciting reopening of the Central Library which was unprecedentedly destroyed by ISIS, the enemy of knowledge and civilization. Mr. Sayf briefed the Channel of the efforts made by the local and global supporters to revive the Central Library, showing the delight and pride of the University students, academics and employees and local personalities, mounted as the Central Library reconstructed and reopened to begin again playing its great cognitive in serving its users and keeping abreast of the modern global academic libraries.
