Within the tireless efforts of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, to promote international cooperation and provide the Central Library with modern and diverse information resources, and with a follow up from Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary General of the University Libraries, and in coordination with the Iraqi Embassy in London, the Central Library received more than ten thousand of books donated by the British Book Aid International
