Central Library

According to the directives of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, regarding the Central Library’s technology modernization project, which will be supported and implemented by UNESCO, a working group, set up by the University’s Rector, consisting of the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the officials of the Central Library’s divisions together with the official of the technical system of the Central Library Asst. Lect. Mohammed Abid Qasim and a number of technology experts at the University of Mosul held a meeting to assess the technological needs of the Central Library in preparation for the project of modernizing the Central Library, which was approved by the Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
