Workshop on Ethics of Information and Library Specialists in University Libraries
Under the auspices of Rector Alahmady, and under the supervision and presence of the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, a workshop on (The Ethics of Information and Library Specialists in University Libraries) was conducted in cooperation with the Division of Continuing Education on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The workshop was delivered by Asst. Lect. Shatha Ahmed Thanoon, with administrative assistance by Ms. Saba Ma’ad Ahmed. The workshop dealt with The responsibilities and tasks of the information and libraries specialists towards library work and library users, addressing the ethics issued by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) for workers in university libraries. At the end of the workshop, certificates of participation were given to attendees.
