In the presence of the Director General of the University of Mosul Libraries Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jasim, the first session of the “READ” Club was held at the Central Library. It is a project launched by a group of university students to broaden reading culture in the University of Mosul community
The “Read” Club seeks to create a cultural environment bringing together readers to discuss the ideas and content covered in the books selected in each session. This contributes to the development of thinking and the enhancement of cultural communication skills.
Dr. Mohammed Jasim emphasized that the Central Library will always host such purposeful activities that widen university reading culture and create learning generations.
The session also witnessed interactive discussions among participating students about the club’s concept. The students expressed their enthusiasm and willingness to participate regularly in the club’s upcoming sessions
