In implementation of the directives of the Honorable President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr.Wahid Al-Ibrahimi, on the necessity of promoting the technical staff and developing their skills as one of the basic pillars for the progress of the university and within the Central Library´s Resttoration Project smplemented by UNESCO, and in the presence and participation of the Secretary-General of the of the University of Mosul Libraries , a number of Central Library employees participated in the specialized training course tagged ” Advanced course on the Koha system,” for the period from June 16-18, 2025
The course included two main topics:
The first: about the software used in the Koha system, highlighting the auxiliary tools and accompanying digital services.
The second one: A brief overview of the Koha system’s settings and its configuration to fit the needs of the central library.
The course was delivered by Mr. Bahaa Talib Abd/specialist in library systems
This session considered an important step within the framework of the project to rebuild and modernize the information infrastructure in the library
