According ton the directives of the Presidency of the University of Mosul on the necessity to aadot the continuity in developing the skills of the staff as one of the pillars of the university progress, and under
the supervision and presence of the Secretary General of the of the University of Mosul Libraries , the Central Library held its course tagged “Reducing Administrative Corruption in University Libraries and Their Specialized and Non-Specialist Workers.” For the period from May 25-27, 2025, the course was delivered by the assistant teacher, Shatha Ahmed Thanounr the official ot the Media Unit, Mrs. Rafal Khaled Hussein, the official of the Beneficiary Services Division, and Mr. Muhammad Jamil Younis, responsible for the Follow-up Unit.The course was conducted and presented by Mrs. Saba Maad Al-Jubouri, the official of the Continuing Education Division.The course covered three axes::
The first axis: The concept of thef administrative corruption and its causes in university libraries.
The second axis: The role of workers in reducing the the administrative corruption in university libraries.
The third axis: the Ways to prevent administrative corruption in university libraries.
She stressed the need to pay attention to duties and instructions within the framework of work preserving the library collections, helping the usesrs, keeping pace with modern technology in the library, and self-development in order to achieve the library’s goals. or presenting real
or supposed cases of administrative corruption and how to deal with them ..
