Visit of the German’s Agency delegation for International Cooperation GIZ to the Central Library at the University of Mosul
the Central Library at the University of Mosul received a delegation from the German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ, headed by Mr. Axel Klapwijk, accompanied by Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and in the presence of a number of university officials On Sunday, July 27, 2025. They were received by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Jassim Muhammad, Secretary-General of Mosul University Libraries.
The visit witnessed an extensive tour of the library’s sections , during which the delegation viewed the reading halls and library services provided to the researchers and students, as well as the restoration and maintenance efforts for manuscripts and sources that were damaged, in addition to the library’s resources digitization unit.
