In line with the directives of the Honorable President of the Mosul, University Professor Dr. Waaid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, emphasizing the importance of paying attention to brabch libraries in the university’s colleges and enhancing communication to ensure the quality of library services, the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Koha Automated Cataloguing System and Technical Procedures in Libraries, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Director of the University Libraries, conducted a field visit on Tuesday, September 10, 2025, to the libraries of the College of Pharmacy and the College of Nursing, College of Dentistry and College of Veterinary Medicine.
During the visit, the committee reviewed the workflow and met with the specialized staff, underscoring the importance of continuous cooperation and integration between libraries and colleges to achieve Mosul University’s vision of providing the best scientific and knowledge services to society.
This visit is part of a series of field tours conducted by the General Secretariat of University Libraries to monitor and follow up on the progress of work in the libraries of the university’s colleges.
