Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul, the Honorable Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the General Director of the Libraries of the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, and as part of the activities of the Continuing Education Division in the Central Library, the library organized the workshop entitled (Psychological and Social Support for Children with Special Needs and Their Families), delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Laith Hazem Habeeb, a lecturer from College of Basic Education ,Special Education Department, on Monday 9/29/2025 .It was presented and coordinated by Ms. Saba Maad Al-Jubouri, Head of the Continuing Education Division at the Library, , the workshop covered a topic on ways to deal with children with special needs from an educational perspective, starting with the family, and how to deal with them, encouraging and instilling self- confidence in themselves, reducing bullying towards them, and supporting them psychologically and socially.
