The Central Library at the University of Mosul hosts the Reading Club to discusses the book “The Problem of Culture”

In line with the directives of the Presidency of the Mosul University and in an its efforts to establish the culture of reading and promote knowledge dialogue among youth and researchers, the General Directorate of the Central Library hosted a group of students from Nineveh Governorate universities as part of the Reading Club’s activities.
The participants discussed the book “The Problem of Culture” by Malek Ben nabi with intellectual and dialogue discussions that reflected the awareness of young people of the importance of reading and its role in developing critical thinking and enriching academic and cultural knowledge.
Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Director of the University Libraries attended part of it, where he underscored that these important activities contribute to creating a university environment that stimulates continuous research and learning and opens broader horizons for students to exchange ideas and discuss intellectual and cultural issues.
The establishment of the Reading Club is part of the vision of the university presidency to support and foster students and researchers and encourage them to read as a way of life that contributes to building an aware, advanced and educated generation capable of facing the challenges of the times.
