Workshop on Human Trafficking:( Sources and Impact) in the Ibn Khaldun’s Library

Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul, the Honorable Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of Director of the Libraries of the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, and as part of the activities of the Continuing Education Division in the Central Library, the library organized the workshop entitled :Human Trafficking:( Sources and Influence), delivered by the lecturer Saji Fath Zidan Al-Ayaji ,College of Political Science, on Sunday 10/19/2025 and it was coordinated and presented by Ms. Saba Maad Al-Jubouri, Head of the Continuing Education Division in the library, The workshop covered a topic about the human trafficking as the forced exploitation of individuals for various purposes, such as the forced labor, sexual exploitation, forced begging, recruitment of children into armed conflict, and even organ trafficking. This includes the use of deception, coercion, or exploitation of victims’ vulnerability.
