The Central Library participates in the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week
As part of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week, the General Directorate of the Central Library organized an awareness campaign that included the publication of a set of educational posters on library screens. The campaign continued for and it’s a week as part of its ongoing efforts and its great keenness to limit and combat the spread of drugs.
The importance of community awareness is one of the most prominent tools for preventing and fighting drugs.This awareness represents the first line of defense against the spread of this scourge and reducing its effects in society. The danger of drugs is not limited to a specific segment of society but can extend to all segments of society due to their ease of spread and the multiplicity of sources.
