In line with the directives of the Presidency of the University of Mosul ,emphasizing the importance of adopting continuity in developing the skills of the staff as one of the main pillars of advancement at the university, and in cooperation with the Presidency of the University ,Department of Studies and Planning, Sustainable Development Unit, and under the supervision and presence of the Director of the Libraries of the University of Mosul, the Central Library organized a workshop entitled “The Role of Information Technology in Reducing Administrative Corruption” on Monday morning, 12/8/2025. The workshop was delivered by A.M.Dr. Ahmed Younis Mohammed Al-Sabawi,it was conducted and presented by Ms. Saba Maad Al-Jubouri,
Head of the Continuing Education Division. The workshop covered the role of information technology and its applications as one of the most important modern methods used in organizations and institutions of all types, which clearly contributes to reducing administrative corruption in organizations
This event is part of the programs implemented by the University of Mosul which contributes to protecting society. This workshop achieves (Fourth goal: Quality Education, Eighth goal: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Sixteenth goal: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) of the sustainable development goals.
