The Honorable President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, accompanied by the member of the Nineveh Provincial Council Mr. Abdullah Atheel Al-Nujaifi visited the Central Library at the University of Mosul today, on Sunday, March 15, 2026, as part of his visit to brief on a number of the university’s scientific and service facilities .
They were received by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, the Director of Mosul University Libraries, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the library’s sections, its scientific and information services, and the knowledge resources it provides to
students and researchers, as well as the tireless efforts made to develop the library’s infrastructure and promote the services of the access to scientific resources and digital repositories.
Mr. Al-Najafi praised the scientific and cultural role which played by the Central Library in supporting the research movement at the University of Mosul and serving the academic community, underscoring the importance of this scientific institution in enhancing the research and education environment
