In line with the directives of the presidency of the Mosul University,emphasizing the importance of  enhancing the scientific cooperation and exchanging expertise between the academic institutions, the University of Mosul reviewed its experience in developing the services of the Central Library and the tranfomation of the Mosul University, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed delivered a lecture , in the Babel Hall at Al-Hamdaniya University, as part of a workshop entitled

“Digital Transformation: The Experience of the Central Library of the University of Mosul”

The lecture covered the most prominent stages of the development of the Central Library, and the efforts made to rebuild its knowledge system and developing its services, highlighting the role of modern technologies in modernizing the library work environment and raising the level of services provided to the users.

This participation confirms the importance of exchanging successful institutional experiences in the field of university libraries and boosting their role as renewed knowledge centers that keeping pace with  the technological developments and contributing to supporting  the scientific research and facilitating access to knowledge. The workshop attained the Sustainable Development Goals, fourth goal: Good Education.
