In response to recommendations by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, that it is essential to keep up with the latest information systems in universities, and under a direct supervision of Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, the Technical Procedures Division in the library has made new index cards of dozens of books previously borrowed by students and researchers before the occupation of Mosul by ISIS terrorist groups.
