As part of the Mosul Studies Center’s efforts to open up to diverse communities, Prof. Dr. Amer Abdullah Al-Jumaili, Head of the Cultural Relations Committee and a lecturer in the Department of Literary Studies and Documentation, participated in the memorial service for the late scholar Benjamin Haddad on the first anniversary of his passing at the Assyrian Cultural Center in Duhok. The ceremony was held in recognition and appreciation of the late scholar’s intellectual, literary, linguistic, heritage, and other contributions. The ceremony included speeches by prominent figures and figures, including the deceased’s family. A presentation was also given of his latest book (Biographies and Memories), which was printed at the Assyrian Cultural Center’s expense.
