As part of the efforts of the Mosul Studies Center’s administration, represented by its director, Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, to follow up on the activities of the Women’s Affairs Committee at the center, and in implementation of the directives of the University of Mosul’s presidency, Dr. Hanan Abdul-Khaliq Ali Al-Sabawi, head of the Women’s Affairs Committee at the Mosul Studies Center, accompanied by Dr. Maysoun Dhunoun Al-Abaiji, a member of the committee, attended a workshop on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Scientific and Literary Forum Hall. The workshop, entitled “Raising Awareness about Cancer Among Women in the Republic of Iraq,” was presented by Dr. Najla Saadi Al-Saffar, a senior specialist physician and fellow of the Arab Board of Medical Specialties (Arab Board – Community Medicine). The workshop aimed to highlight methods of prevention and early detection of breast tumors.
