Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul,
and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center,
As part of the Center’s efforts to build bridges of scientific and academic cooperation with Iraqi universities, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit/University of Mosul, the teaching staff at the Mosul Studies Center undertook a voluntary initiative. This initiative involved providing the University of Tal Afar with more than ninety books in disciplines relevant to the aforementioned university’s field of specialization, in addition to some recent publications. These were presented to the University of Tal Afar by Dr. Kamal Ashour Khader and Mr. Mahdi Saleh Saeed, faculty members at the Mosul Studies Center, on behalf of the Center’s Director and teaching staff. This initiative contributes to achieving the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, which is (Quality Education), as well as the seventeenth goal, which is (Partnerships for the Goals).
