Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, the Women’s Affairs Committee at the Mosul Studies Center, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit and the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul, and in solidarity with the annual global campaign (16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence), launched a campaign to combat violence against women by displaying informational and awareness posters about combating violence against women in the Mosul Studies Center building on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
